Sister Style: Brick Wall Waterfall

After my sister graduated we drove to this beautiful winery a little ways away. Great food and wine accompanied by family and friends-Perfect!

Afterwards, we hung around the parking lot and snapped some outfit pictures. Mine are here! I also snapped some of our youngest sister so she could try and be as cool as me. 🙂

This is Rudy! Our 14 year old freshman sister with a lot of sass and style; just like me!

Premier Jewelry Party

The winners have been announced and the balloons have deflated. None of that will stop me from finally posting a few photos from our Premier Jewelry party back in December. 🙂

We had a blast in the back room of Panera Bread, taking refuge from the frigid temperatures outside, looking at sparkly jewels. I managed to snap a few pictures of the spread before they were snatched up!

Here are the necklace and earring set that the first prize winner won!

Thanks again to Angela Duncan for hosting the shindig and laying out these beautiful pieces! Be sure to hit her up for the new spring line!

Leopard Compromises

Anyone else have the weirdest experiences with Target’s sizing? These pants are a size up from what I normally wear because my normal size fit great except I couldn’t sit. And now these are too big so every time I sit they nearly fall off. The compromises I make for leopard pants.

Also, ‘every time’ is two words!?

That college degree is really not making me look good.

Have you guys heard of South By So What? It’s this music festival in Dallas and one of my nostalgically favorite bands is headlining (Taking Back Sunday) so I convinced my best friend to go with me. I’ve asked off work and I am so excited! It’ll be my first festival of any kind so I feel like a grown up just knowing that. 🙂

HUMP DAY.

I have some pretty cool friends.

For Christmas one of our friends got some really talented singers together and put on a great carol program at a local church. It’s so cool to me that 20 somethings can do things like that. Right? I mean, we go to school for four or five years and then we have to get creative on how we use our time after that. It just makes me kind of proud seeing friends that know how to use their talents. *grown up*

So with my Christmas money I bought an Apple TV! If you don’t know, it’s a little black box that plugs into the TV and you can watch Netflix, Hulu, Crackle and all other kinds of things on it all through your TV. But the coolest part is if you have an iPhone, you can throw whatever is on your phone up on the TV through wifi! It. Rules. I watch YouTube on mine a lot. So far I’ve just been using it to watch Family Guy. :/ Maybe one day I’ll use it for something more educational, but I doubt it.

Happy Tuesday!

New Years Eve Party!

We had a blast celebrating NYE. Nothing like being surrounded by friends, cupcakes, and champagne when the new year rings in.

I spent the next day relaxing in bed watching movies. Great way to start the new year! I didn’t make a mile long list of resolutions this year like I have before. My only goals are to buy a car, get a new job, and move out. Three seemingly simple things I want to accomplish within six months. There are other small things I want to do but they’ve been on my goal list for a while but if you want to see them anyway let me know and I’ll do a little goal post. HA. Goal post.

Did you make any resolutions? I’d love to read them! I hope you’re having a great new year.

Here we go, 2014!

Cold Looks Good On You

The day these were taken it was so cold I could not feel my face, hands, ears or legs. After my sister’s graduation we went to Landon Winery in Greenville. Their food is great and so is their wine! This little back parking lot was the perfect backdrop for this cream dress and I love how that orange coat pops.

How was your holiday season? Can you believe it’s already over?! 🙁 And that we are already almost a WEEK into the new year?! It is so weird and time flies too fast for me.

I really had a great holiday season. Time with family, generosity, warm fuzziness… I just love that time of year. So let’s enjoy this new year! 🙂

And don’t forget…
